Lula: Brazil’s debt with Africa can be paid with agricultural tech
President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva said that Brazil owes Africa a debt that can be repaid with solidarity, technological exchange, and assistance for the development of local agriculture. In his view, Brazil’s experience in food production must be shared as an instrument against hunger and poverty worldwide.“We owe 350 years in which this country exploited a large portion of the African people. I’m aware that Brazil can’t pay for this in money—it can’t be measured in money at any rate.
