Famous Brazilian drink Cachaça export market to hit record in 2022
The cachaça exports registered a record value from January to November this year: US$ 18.47 million. The result is the highest in the last 12 years and 54.74% higher than the exports of 2021. The numbers are registered in the Comex Stat, the federal government's foreign trade data system, and were compiled by the Brazilian Institute of Cachaça (Ibrac)The figures stand out mainly because they are from a period immediately after the worst years of the covid-19 pandemic and, even so, and bring higher figures than the period before the global health crisis.
